Do I need to be at home or at the facility? That is totally up to you. Your home or facility will cleaned thoroughly whether you are there or not. If you decide not to be at home or the facility, you may provide us a key. The keys are coded by number -not name or address, and signed out each day to the team leader and signed back in at the end of the business day. The keys are locked in a private area for management access only. If you decide to be there during the clean, we do ask that you allow the cleaners the ability to move freely throughout the home or facility to get the job done in a timely and constructive manner. If you have any questions, suggestions, concerns, or comments, please feel free to contact us at your convenience. We are available 24/7 for your convenience.

Do you bring your own supplies? Yes, we provide all the supplies and equipment. If you want to provide a special cleaner, or you want us to use your vacuum, let the team leader know and she will be happy to accommodate your wishes.
Is Hometown Cleaning Services properly insured? Yes, Hometown Cleaning Services is licensed, bonded, and insured. We welcome your request for a copy of our insurance policy for your peace of mind.
Are your cleaners sub-contracted or employees of Hometown Cleaning Services? All staff members are employed by Hometown Cleaning Services, not sub-contractors. This is for your protection. We are responsible for paying all federal and state employee taxes. Did you know that if you hired a unlicensed, uninsured, person to clean your home or facility, that you are considered their employer and are required to withhold and pay employee taxes? Most consumers do not know the facts and liabilities that go along with hiring an unlicensed, uninsured individual to service their home or facility.
Do you charge extra for a first-time cleaning? If you want the first-time cleaning fee waived, we need to come out to your home and verify this service is not needed to bring your home up to general cleaning standards. Go around your home and check on top of door jams: Do you find dust bunnies? Do the same with your picture frames, baseboards, and interior door panels. Do you have soap scum build-up? Do you have any mold problems? Has it been 1 month or longer since your home was cleaned? If you answered yes to any of the above, you most likely need a first-time clean. If you had a company, or you clean your home on a regular basis, and do not have any of the above, you may not be charged for a first-time clean. But, Hometown Cleaning Services will have to come out to your home to evaluate and discuss your cleaning needs.
